 Planets - Dialect mayhap the most smashing dissension between Norse and Greco-Roman astrology is how they report planetary vim. Norse astrology uses the gods and goddesses of the Norse pantheon, and, dissimilar to Greco-Roman, Norse is equally balanced between spear and female. The most momentous planets are Odin the Moon and Freyja the Sun. Female planetary puissance manifests itself with Mercury representing Skadhi, Venus representing Frigga, and Neptune representing the Norns. Man's planetary vim manifests itself with Mars representing Thor, Jupiter representing Freyr, Saturn representing Tyr, and Uranus representing Loki (who on occasion phoney a cissy bearing). The northern and southern declinations of the Moon characterize Heimdal and Hel. In Norse astrology, the planets deliver deep affinities to the houses, but a lesser relationship to the runes. In compare, Greco-Roman planets take sizeable stable affinities to the signs (rulerships), but sparse relationship to the houses.
